I’m confused! Has the motel been refurbished or not?? I’ve looked at reviews on Trip Advisor, on Google and on here – mixed (though one on trip advisor by M Clark definitely states its refurbished). However, all of the pictures on all of the sits its listed on show the same pictures as were there 5 years ago when I stayed there. The prices have increased considerably, but if I’m only going to get the same as I paid for 5 years ago, then its not worth the increased price. Just because it has sky in all rooms does not justify the price increase! The website is no longer working, though its still listed in advertising. And the email address: clansmanmotel@clear.net.nz just keeps bouncing back. Can someone please clarify.

Hi there – the Clansman did hit some major rough water over a previous management issue. Maria had taken over and I have faith that if anyone can pull it back it is her. But it does take time 🙂 they have just opened the new restaurant to some great reviews. I will forward your message to Maria to respond to directly. Thanks for being in touch

I’d heard that Claire and Peter were no longer there, and that a man had taken it over (not very successfully). Hopefully Maria can do it. But she needs to update things for sure. I’m looking at having a holiday early next year, that’s why I had been researching accommodation. Thanks for your response.

Before I share my experience of my stay at the Clansman Hotel online, I offer the new owner an opportunity to get back to me ras promised. It has been three weeks since I booked a room there and I appreciate the new owner had just taken over the motel. You have my contact details. 0272346871

    Hi,

Is this Motel under new management and has it been refurbished? I want to know how much will it cost to stay a night?

    regards
    Josie
