Industry hits the mainstreet of Waipu
It is great to see the large empty shop in the middle of town is ready for the summer crowds
Industry – a new shop with ‘an industrial asthetic’ says the Bream Bay News.
Jo Keith (formerly of the Eyespy in the Old Firestation on the Braigh), Andy O’Reilly who has also run collectables shops, though locally known more for his roofing have teamed up to open the shop – and had a party to celebrate on 18 October – must have been a weekend of openings, as I think the Pipers Restaurant opened the same weekend.
I love the decor and industrial flavour of the space.
On display are racks of re-invented vintage clothing from and Auckland based label names Smoove, some great retro furniture, and other items of by Dareen.
The Smoove label clothes are fabulous – I am definitely going to buy some – love the smart Tshirt prints – funky and unusual.
